Where in the West - June: A Second Look

The area in question looking almost due east, with truck tracks for scale.

The area in question looking almost due north, with strange geo-type for scale.

Photos taken December 2002.

Remember: "If it's white, it's alright; if it's brown, go around." In the above photos it was a little browner than usual, and MOH and I ventured out cautiously. The "white" in the above photos is from salt efflorescence. Too much salt causes a kind of "white" that voids the above saying - that is, if it's real white, also go around.

Btw, a great place to camp.
